Our Mission

Southern Maine Stockyard was built on a goal of self-sufficiency and providing high-quality, farm-raised food to the local community. What started as a small farm has grown into a mission to produce organic, responsibly raised meat while supporting and feeding families throughout Maine. The farm is also committed to giving back, including supporting veterans through food donations.

Welcome to Southern Maine Stockyard, a veteran-owned and operated family farm located in East Waterboro, Maine. We raise and offer a variety of farm-fresh meats including beef, pork, chicken, and Thanksgiving Turkeys, all produced with a focus on quality and care. Our pork and poultry are certified organic. Since 2014, we have been serving our local community with dependable, locally raised food you can trust.
